Ragged edges around a socket look messy and drive me absolutely crazy. In the past I've filled in with putty, sanded and painted to cover the mistake. What a simple solution to a vexing problem. I was not able to measure it properly. so at then end i just took some white plaster and asked my friend to help me out. I just made a paste of this plaster and applied it over the edges. once I faced this situation.
